EasySetup will help you create setup wizards for your applications. Not only program installers can be created but also installers for all types of files. In addition, you will also be able to create uninstallers.
The interface may look a little difficult to use at first, but it is actually quite simple. Most customization actions are done in a WYSIWYG way. This means that you will be able to personalize each of the setup wizard steps by customizing the text, images and buttons captions directly from each of the screens. Additionally, you will be able to specify such setup options as program group, setup program title and main folder. A set of further options will let you decide on aspects like creating the folder inside Program File, including an installer shortcut, running unattended, installing TrueType fonts automatically, among others. An essential part of the process will be to select the files and their location. Finally, you will be able to personalize your setup a little more by making a choice of colors, setting advanced options and editing install and uninstall messages. Several language packs are available so you will be capable of creating setup wizards in any of the supported languages.
Although this application’s interface has been organized in tabs whose order you can follow (as in a wizard) to complete your task, it really needs further design work. Perhaps it needs a real welcoming screen to give the user control over the actions. As to the design of the install wizards, do not expect too much because you will see nothing appealing about them, just the same old boring setups.
In general, EasySetup is a light application that will definitely ease your work. However, you may feel that its price is somewhat high for its quality.
